The RRC NER Recruitment 2024 offers vacancies for Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts. Here are the details:

- Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi: 1 Post
- Erstwhile Group ‘D’ (Level-1, 6th CPC GP 1800)

RRC NER Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Group ‘C’ Posts (Level-2)
- Technician-III: Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI in the relevant trade.
- Other Posts: 12th pass or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate (not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen and candidates with higher qualifications).
- Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Posts (Level-1)
- For Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, and Signal & Telecom departments: 10th pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or ITI.
- Other Departments: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.
Age Limit:
- Group ‘C’ Posts: 18 to 30 years
- Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Posts: 18 to 33 years
Relaxations are available for various categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-servicemen and other categories are eligible for additional relaxations.

RRC NER Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for RRC NER Recruitment 2024 involves two main components:
Written Examination through Computer Based Test (CBT) (60 Marks):
- 40 objective questions (40 marks) and one essay (20 marks) related to Scouts and Guides.
Marks for Certificates (40 Marks):
- Additional marks will be given based on participation in National, State, and District events.
The final merit list will be based on the combined score from the written exam and certificate marks.
