UCSL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details
There are fourteen vacancies available for the ITI Trade Apprentice at the Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL).

UCSL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UCSL Apprentice Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Pass in X standard (10th).
- Pass in ITI in the relevant trade (National Trade Certificate) from a recognized institute.
Age:
- The minimum age should be 18 years as of 4th November 2024.
Physical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the physical standards as prescribed in the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
UCSL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for UCSL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is straightforward:
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their ITI qualification. If multiple candidates have the same percentage, seniority in age will be considered for the final selection.
Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and will have to appear for a certificate verification process. During this process, candidates must bring:
- A printout of the application form.
Original certificates for proof of age, educational qualification, caste, disability (if applicable), etc.
Medical Fitness: After successful verification of documents, candidates must meet medical fitness standards as prescribed under the Apprentices Act 1961.

Applicants must fill out the application form (Annexure I), attach a recent passport-sized photo, and email the scanned, signed copy along with supporting documents to career@udupicsl.com. They should ensure that the form, with the photo and all necessary certificates (age, education, experience, caste, etc.), is included in the email. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of their application. After submitting the email, applicants will receive a unique registration number from UCSL, which they should keep as a soft copy or printout for future reference.
