NBT Steno Recruitment 2024 – Overview

• Post Name: Stenographer (Hindi & English)
• Number of Posts: 02
• Remuneration: ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 (fixed per month)
• Job Type: Contractual (Initially for three months, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements)
• Location: National Book Trust, India, New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• Maximum: 40 years
• Age will be determined as of 29th November 2024 (the application closing date).

2.  Educational Qualifications

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

3. Skill Test Norms

• Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m.
• Transcription:
  • English: 50 minutes on a computer
  • Hindi: 65 minutes on a computer

4. Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in stenography work.
• Must have good communication skills and proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
