Eligibility Criteria for Bharat Electronics Limited Project Engineer-I Recruitment 2024

To apply for the position of Project Engineer-I, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Candidates should possess a 4-year B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or Telecommunication Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution or recognized university.
   • Applicants must have a pass class in the qualifying degree.
2. Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit is 32 years as of 01.10.2024.
• Age relaxation: OBC candidates get a 3-year relaxation, while candidates from the Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category get a 10-year relaxation (over and above any applicable category relaxation).

Experience:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification industrial experience in programming with C & C++ languages.

Remuneration and Benefits

• The initial engagement period for the Project Engineer-I post is 3 years, which may be extended up to 4 years based on project requirements and performance.
• The consolidated salary structure is:
  • 1st year: ₹40,000 per month
  • 2nd year: ₹45,000 per month
  • 3rd year: ₹50,000 per month
  • 4th year: ₹55,000 per month
• Additional allowances of ₹12,000 per annum cover expenses such as medical insurance, attire, stitching, and footwear.
• A retention bonus of ₹25,000 will be provided for each completed year, payable at the end of the 4-year tenure, amounting to ₹1,00,000.

Selection Process for BEL Project Engineer-I Recruitment 2024

The selection process consists of:

1. Written Test: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test.
2. Interview: Only candidates who clear the written test will be invited for an interview. The interview shortlisting will follow a 1:5 ratio based on written test performance in their respective categories.
