Eligibility Criteria Recruitment 2024
To be eligible for the Assistant Director position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education:
- A Master’s degree from a recognized university in:
- Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject, or
- English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or
- Any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects.
- A Master’s degree from a recognized university in:
- Experience:
- Candidates should have at least three years of experience in:
- Terminology work in Hindi and translation (technical or scientific literature) from English to Hindi or vice versa, or
- Teaching or research in Hindi or English.
- Candidates should have at least three years of experience in:
- Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years as of the application deadline.
- Pay Scale: These posts fall under General Central Services Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial Cadre. Selected candidates will be posted in Level 10 of the pay matrix, which ranges from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500.
