ESIC-PGIMSR has openings for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Senior Research Scientists, and Research Scientists. The vacancies are spread across multiple departments, with details as follows:
Eligibility Criteria
For Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor):
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 67 years as of the date of the walk-in interview.
- Qualifications: As per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. Additionally, for Associate Professors in Pulmonary Medicine, a candidate must qualify as a DM Supervisor.
For Research Scientists:
- Senior Research Scientist:
- Age: Up to 45 years.
- Qualifications: MD or PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Chemical Sciences, or related fields with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Research Scientist:
- Age: Up to 40 years.
- Qualifications: MD or PhD in similar fields with 1 year of relevant research experience.
Pay and Allowances for ESIC-PGIMSR Recruitment 2024
- Professor: ₹2,45,295 per month.
- Associate Professor: ₹1,63,116 per month.
- Assistant Professor: ₹1,40,139 per month.
- Senior Research Scientist: ₹1,25,000 per month.
- Research Scientist: ₹1,00,000 per month.
In addition to the salary, eligible candidates will also receive transport allowances and applicable dearness allowances (DA). However, no private practice is allowed during the contract period.

- Prepare Application: Download and fill in the prescribed application form from the ESIC website.
- Gather Required Documents: Attach two passport-sized photographs, self-attested copies of educational certificates, proof of age, experience certificates, and research publications.
- Demand Draft: Candidates from general categories must prepare a Demand Draft of ₹225, payable to “ESI Savings Fund A/c No. 2” in New Delhi.
