OPSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication or a Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication.
- Adequate knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years as of 1st January 2024. There is age relaxation for certain categories:
- SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- PWD candidates: 10 years

OPSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process consists of a Written Examination and a Viva Voce Test.
Written Test:
The written exam is subjective, consisting of four papers (100 marks each) with a 2-hour duration for each paper:
- Odia
- General English
- General Awareness
- Journalism & Mass Communication
Viva Voce Test:
Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for a Viva Voce Test worth 30 marks.
