What is PDO and Who can Become PDO?
Public Data Offices (PDOs) are internet booths that will establish, maintain, and operate only WANI-compliant Wi-Fi Access Points and deliver broadband services to subscribers. Anyone can become a PDO in India by just setting up the internet facilities. The individual did not have to go through any registration process to become a PDO. Any village-level entrepreneur (VLE), Grocery shop owner, Tea stall, Kirana shop, Vegetable shop, restaurant owner, etc. All can become PDOs and start selling internet broadband over Wi-Fi.
Who is PDOA?
Public Data Office Aggregator will provide aggregation services such as authorization and accounting to PDOs, thereby facilitating PDOs in providing services to the end consumer. If the individual has a company that is registered under the Companies Act 2013 can visit the official website of DoT to register for PDOA.
Who is User?
A user is a citizen who will use the internet facilities from various PDOs.
How much benefit will PDO Get?
The PDO will get 80% of the total recharge of the day. For example, if the PDO sells internet for up to INR 500 then he will get 80% of the 500 that is INR 400 will be transferred to his bank account.

To communicate with the PDOA the applicant can visit the official website of the PM Wani scheme.
Once the applicant reaches the homepage the applicant can click on the option PDO portal on the dashboard.
A new page will appear on your desktop screen the applicant must enter all the details on the inquiry form.
After filling in all the details the applicant clicks on the option register. The enquiry form will be sent to the central Registry office.
The interested PDOA will contact the applicant shortly after the registration process is completed.
