Eligibility Criteria for Government of India (GOI) Recruitment 2024
For Scientist D (4 Posts)
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years (Relaxation up to 5 years for government servants).
- Educational Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or BE/B.Tech in one of the following fields:- Physics/Applied Physics, Astrophysics, Solid State Physics, Quantum Physics, Electronics, Nanoscience
- Chemistry/Applied Chemistry, Material Science
- Computer Science, Data Sciences, IT, Cyber Security, AI & ML
- Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Statistics
- Experience:
8 years of experience in areas like scientific organizations, industrial R&D, academic institutions, or government-funded labs. Desirable qualifications include a doctorate degree and direct experience in policy drafting and managing science and technology programs.
For Scientist E (1 Post)
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years (Relaxation up to 5 years for government servants).
- Educational Qualifications:
Similar to Scientist D, with emphasis on advanced qualifications and leadership in scientific research. - Experience:
Extensive experience in the administration and development of science and technology programs, with a focus on national policies and technological missions.
Selection Process for GOI Recruitment 2024
The Principal Scientific Adviser Recruitment 2024 selection process will involve:
- Screening of Applications: All applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee.
- Written Test cum Personal Interaction: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and personal interaction. The final selection will be based on the score achieved in these assessments.
- Preparation of Panel: A panel of successful candidates will be created and remain valid for 6 months, allowing for appointments to vacancies that arise during this period.
