To be eligible for the Chair Professor (General Insurance) position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

- Existing or Retired General Manager level officers, not more than 62 years of age as of 1st December 2024.
- Must have an aptitude for Research

NIA Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Selection for the Chair Professor position will be based on recommendations from a Search-cum-Selection Committee. Applicants will be shortlisted according to their qualifications and experience, and only those shortlisted will be invited for an interview.

Candidates must complete the application form (Annexure 1) and email it to director@niapune.org.in.
