UPSC ESE Recruitment 2025 Re open Notice out

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced that the application period for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 has been reopened, extending the deadline to 22nd November 2024. This gives more candidates a chance to apply. Additionally, the total number of vacancies has increased to about 457 across different engineering fields, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC ESE Vacancy

1. Qualification:
2. Candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
3. Alternatively, they must have passed sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or hold equivalent qualifications as specified in the notification.
4. Age Limit:
5. The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 1st January 2025. Candidates must have been born between 2nd January 1995 and 1st January 2004.
6. Age Relaxation:Up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
7. Up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
8. Up to 5 years for ex-servicemen and PwBD candidates.

4. Salary:

The selected candidates will receive a salary as per the pay scale defined for Group A and B services in various central government departments.
