Eligibility Criteria Recruitment 2024

1.  Educational Qualifications:
   • You should have a Doctorate Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, or a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university.
2. Experience:
   • You need to have worked in a managerial role related to science and technology for at least six years.
   • Alternatively, you could have two years of regular service in a post at Level 13 or six years in a Level 12 position in the pay matrix.
3. Age Limit:
   • Candidates must be not older than 56 years as of the closing date for applications.
4. Skills:
   • Knowledge of a modern European language (like German, Russian, or Japanese) in addition to English is desirable.
   • Experience in intellectual property rights, patents, and interdisciplinary science is also beneficial.

Responsibilities – As a Scientific Attaché/Counselor, your duties will include:

• Implementing joint science and technology programs.
• Keeping the Indian government updated on scientific developments in the host country.
• Coordinating visits for S&T officials and scientists.
