Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- For all categories:
- 10+2 pass from a recognized board/institution.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
Age Limit:
- For all categories: 18-25 years as of 1st September 2024.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation is provided, with a maximum service break of 4 years between discharge and the application date.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
Pay Scale:
In the Haryana Police 5600 Constable Recruitment 2024, the salary details for the constable posts are as follows:
- Pay Scale: Rs.21,700/- per month
- Pay Level: Level 3, Cell 1 (as per the 7th Pay Commission)
This pay scale applies to all categories of constable posts, including Male Constable (General Duty), Female Constable (General Duty), and Male Constable (India Reserve Battalion).In addition to the basic salary, constables will be entitled to other allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Travel Allowance (TA) as per the Haryana Government rules.

Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Qualifying Tests

- Female: 1 km run in 6 minutes.
- Ex-servicemen: 1 km run in 5 minutes.
- Knowledge Test: A written test will carry 94.5% weightage with objective-type questions covering general studies, reasoning, current affairs, and basic knowledge of Haryana.
- Additional Weightage: Candidates with NCC certificates will get additional marks.
